Whether you’re a hiring manager or a candidate, I’ve been in your shoes.
(Not literally. That would be weird)
Hiring manager
As a hiring manager I interviewed hundreds of people.
It took me away from what I should have been doing. Instead of working towards my goals, I found myself sifting through largely irrelevant C.Vs as many people ignored the brief. And worse still, I got no credit for doing it. Going through this means I understand your needs quicker. I find the best people by using my extensive network and tailored search methods, removing the stress of the recruitment process from you. I free up your time to concentrate on what you’re the best at.
Candidate
As a candidate I sometimes felt trapped and unsure of how to go about finding my next role.
Which recruiters could I trust? Did I have to use social media? How did I get the edge on my competition? Having been through this experience, I give candidates the confidence that they have control over their destiny. I build up trust by doing what I promised by the time I promised to do it. And I empower candidates with tools and approaches to enhance their chances.
From sales and corporate leadership to FinTech recruiter
I’ve always been interested in people and always loved the “doing a deal” element of sales. I felt I’d got to the point of my career where I had good contacts and a strong understanding of how things work in a few different industries.
So I decided to abandon a life of paid holidays, colleagues and discounts for obscure activities to start my own recruitment business in 2019.
Now I help founders of FinTech start up/scale ups to find outstanding talent quicker and easier. This gives them the time to concentrate on what they should really be doing, knowing that this is a job off the worry list.
As a Company of One, relationships are fundamental to me. So my mission is to show that recruiters are a force for good by always delivering value to clients and candidates alike. If you want to see what people say about me, have a look here.
